Educational Preschool Programs
Help prepare your child for school through the educational curriculum of the preschool programs at Mrs. Barnes Playhouse Daycare Youth & Family Service. Your children will learn the basics of colors, numbers, days and months, math, and science.
Preschool daily schedule
- 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM: breakfast
- 9:00 AM: morning circle
- 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: snack time
- 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: outside play
- 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: arts and crafts
- 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: lunch
- 12:30 PM - 1:45 PM: nap time
- 2:00 PM - 2:20 PM: writing activities
- 2:20 PM - 3:00 PM: free play (puzzles, colors, flash cards)
- 3:00 PM: dismissal
Additional program information
Your child's individual progress determines when he or she moves on to more advanced lessons, not as determined by a pre-set schedule.
While we do operate until midnight with our 12 hour daycare program, you will need to send food with your child for meals.
Any sibling after your first child is enrolled gets 10% OFF the regular tuition rate.
